My grandmother started my collection of Danbury Mint Annual Ornaments when I was born. I have every one of them EXCEPT 1976. I have been searching ebay, but I haven't had any luck in the last 3 years. I would love to find this ornament. Does anyone at least know what I'm looking for? I've never even seen a picture of this ornament and I don't know the title for 1976 either! Thanks!

Thank you for your site. It has guided me in my collecting efforts. I am curious if there is a designated cover design on the box sets for each year and how I can find out that info.

Where can I find replacement boxes for my Danbury gold ornaments? Several of my originals have water damage from Hurricanes.

Hi!
I was so glad to find your site. I have been collecting the annual ornaments for over 20 years and have enjoyed their beauty and creativity.

I have two extra ornaments that need a good home!

1990 - Rocking Horse
1991 - Toy Chest

Please contact me if you are interested.

We are looking for the 1976 Angel. Our collection begins in 1977 and would like to acquire the first one. Any auction sites or individuals would be helpful...
Thanks for the help...

Barb and Dave say:   Best place to watch is eBay - that is how I was able to complete my collection.

I have 36 pieces of Hummel Gold Christmas Collections ornaments. Some of the titles are 'Apple Tree Girl', 'Apple Tree Boy', 'Grandpa's Helper', 'Umbrella Girl' and 'Christmas Tree Bear'. They have the year 1988 imprinted on them. Also included is a piece of paper with the actual edition date of the Hummel figurine. Would you be so kind as to help me value this collection? Thank you.

Barb and Dave say:   I have no information on the Hummel Collection. I only am involved with the Gold Christmas Ornament Collection. You should contact The Danbury Mint directly to see if they have any information. The can be reached at 1-800-243-4664, Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5 pm ET. Sorry.

My husband (before we met) started collecting these in 1985. He missed a few years. We now have 13 years plus the annuals and in 1997 we got the "Night Before Christmas" set instead. I have our tree and some of the sets shown on my website at http://www.bapcentral.com/Christmas2003.htm. You just gave me the idea of putting up more. We have pictures of all of them which we use when we take them off the tree to get them sorted into the right boxes. As you all know, that's a real chore. Has anyone found an easier way? At least with the last few years the year is more prominent.

Barb and Dave say:   I must admit that taking the tree down is a much more difficult task than putting it up.

I haven't found a good way to quickly identify except, as the years go by, you do start to remember certain ornaments. In anyone else has come up with a good solution, please let us know and we will not only post it but probably will use the idea ourselves!

I have just discovered the Gold Collection from Danbury this year searching for Disney ornaments. There was a set offered on eBay, all Disney characters. I can find no information on the existence of such a set from Danbury on your site or otherwise. Do you know anything about them? She sold them in a Danbury box and there were 12. I sure would like to find another set. Any idea on these?

Barb and Dave say:   I do not believe Danbury issues these annually. I think that was a one or two year series. The best thing to do is to find out from The Danbury Mint about their Gold Disney issues. Contact Danbury Mint Customer Service:
