Barb and Dave say:   I believe this is a mixed collection from some of Danbury's early years. Use the website and match the images we have available to you to determine the year and proper name of each. The Green box could be any of the first two or three years of issue (1977-1978 or 79). I can tell be your description that they are not from the same year though. Angels with Harps is 1979 while the Partridge was 1997. Cathedral is 1979 and Toy soldier is 1980.

i have 14boxs with 12 ornaments each, would like to sell

Barb and Dave say:   If no one contacts you through our website, I always recommend trying eBay. It is a good method for selling these ornaments. Sometimes you end up with a bidding war depending what you have and can result in some out-of-this-world finals prices.

Barb and Dave say:   I know nothing about these ornaments - my only suggestion would be eBay.

Hi Barb and Dave: When do you expect to update the remaining collection pictures through 2009? I have printed all the pictures that are on your web. This gives me a visual of which ornament belongs to which yearly collection. Your pictures are invaluable. Please update them soon! Thank you!! Mary Rice

Barb and Dave say:   We cannot guarantee any future updates. Although we have the complete collection to date, the time it takes to photograph, edit and upload is time we just no longer have. We have talked about this for the last few years but our commitments to our full time jobs plus our extra work in the entertainment field just does not allow for the additional time commitment. We do have this on our list of "To-Dos" but it is a fairly low priority right now...But who knows - maybe 2010 will be the year we will be able to do this!

I saw a few messages about the Angel Tree Topper. Yes it exists. I'm not sure when we got it, but I have a picture dated 2007 so it was before then. No we don't want to sell ours, just letting people know it exists.

I have a large collection ranging from 84 to 96, most are complete sets in box. About to put them on Ebay?
Would love to sell any to you.
Also what box goes with what year?
Also what does the MBI stand for?
December 17, 2009 15:12 - Emmaus Pa 18049

Barb and Dave say:   Box assignment per year is difficult to do. Danbury often constructs more boxes than they need so the next year, they might or might not have the same design as the previous. Don't sweat that. The box graphic is not critical to the collection and don't believe ANYONE that makes a big deal over the box design. It is the construct of the box that is distinctively Danbury Mint - not the graphic!. MBI and MLBP are registered trademarks for professional baseball - Danbury has many associations with various entertainment, sport and other misc. organizations. Good luck on eBay.
